Raw Food – Day 9

Raw Food – Day 9: Second day on BP

So another day on the Budwig suggested flax seed oil and cottage cheese.  The actualy combination is very tasty however today it did not agree with me.  A lot of gas causing abdominal upset.  This is despite a large intake of digestive enzymes.  Today was home made cottage cheese made without aging with cultures.  It is possible that the use of either a store bought CC or making my own with cultures will improve things.  Using cultures achieves partial digestion prior to eating.  I have some store bought CC so I will test that after the goats milk tomorrow and see how that goes.  It is possible that using goats milk and cultures will be the best.  This would be time consuming however might be worth it.

As with yesterday lots of fat from the flax seed oil.  However not much additionally, and I seemed to feel alright at the end of the day.

Fiber keeps heading down, to be expected as I eat less fruit and more calories from the oil.  It is still higher than most people though so I am not too worried.

Totals for the day:

Calories: 1889 kcal

Calories from fat:46%

fat: 104g

sugar: 93g

Protein: 43g

Fiber: 36g

Stats for the day:

Morning weight: 65.5kg

Morning pH: Urine 6.5

Evening temperature: not measured

Evening pulse: not measured

Evening pH: Urine 6.75

General Thoughts:

pH is acidic again.  It is not as bad as it has been, and a pH of 6.5 in the morning is pretty good, but obviously it was better a few days ago.  I can only assume it is the introduction of the cottage cheese.  I will wait and see if this trend continues.  The most anoying thing is the sub 7 pH in the evening.  With all the healthy raw food I am eating during the day it should be heading up more.

Mental Condition:

Pretty steady.  See last nights post.
