I think the time has come to ease my diet a bit. Not too much. I still think it is important. But at the same time a love of life is very important too. I have lost so many things I loved it is very hard to keep denying a thing I enjoyed so much. I can sacrifice forever if there are results, but sadly, in the face of limited impact I am only human.
Now I’m not about to go crazy here. I’m thinking a little but of organic, ingredient appropriate cheese a couple of times a week. Maybe a few more sweet things made by us with the appropriate things in them. Probably some more fruit. Ease up restrictions on salt a touch and allow some cooking with oils in order to get some real indian dishes going.
I will probably not go back to meat. I am just too against it now. I dont agree with the dairy industry either but it is a lesser evil and I am prepared to forgive myself.
